Let's hope Bad Company 2 and MoH:2010 are very good. Then there is absolutely no reason to get the new CoD.
MW2 is still ok. But this is taking things too far.
We've all seen it coming though

Has nothing to with WoW style gaming, or people paying for it. With woW you are paying for 24/7 support and patches and hotfixes weekly.KillerSam wrote:Who didn't see this coming? We jumped ship at the right time imo. It was inevitable this was going to happen as long as people are willing to pay subscriptions for games like WoW e.t.c.

I cannot see how IW could manage to produce a pay-plan style game based on FPS gameplay, it wouldn't make sense. There is no reason for constant updates and no reason for 24/7 support.
It'll never work.

But, on a serious note, they will not pay it.Soviet wrote:You overestimate the intelligence of console CoD players.Drofder2004 wrote:Console gamers WILL NOT pay for this
Precisely, they'll whine and bitch non-stop. However, at the end of the day they're still buying the product even if it costs 3 times as much as it used to.Drofder2004 wrote:Console gamers are like Americans and the price of 'gas', you make them pay more than the used to and they cry and bitch
Pay to play will not happen. Pay to upgrade will.Soviet wrote:Precisely, they'll whine and bitch non-stop. Fucking whores.source which claims that Infinity Ward is hard at work on a Call of Duty massively-multiplayer online game, which certainly fits the profile of a subscription-based title.
It will and it will be successful.Drofder2004 wrote:Pay to play will not happen. Pay to upgrade will.
lmao, given the player limits of Xbox Live at this point, "massively-multiplayer" will be just about as massive as Peds' penis.source which claims that Infinity Ward is hard at work on a Call of Duty massively-multiplayer online game, which certainly fits the profile of a subscription-based title.
