Parts are pretty cheap these days, if you are able to build/have a friend who can build, http://www.ebuyer.com is good.

you could probably get...

2.6+ ghz dual core intel processor
2gb good branded ddr2 ram
Good case with PSU
A 1tb hard drive
9800GT or 240GTX
and other bits and bobs you might need

for about 350 :)

edit:

Found a vague system here

Coolermaster case with 460W Psu
2gb ddr2 ram (800mhz)
cheapish ATX/mATX motherboard
240GTX
Q8300 (4 x 2.5ghz)
Thats like 310. :)

I would suggest not buying a computer in this price range as I firmly believe you will regret it. You would be better off waiting a bit longer until you can afford to spend more money on the computer, and get something that is going to play the games better, and last you a bit longer.
If you have a computer already and you are willing to strip bits out of it, you put yourself in a much better situation as you can likely get your costs down and allow you to spend a little more on the key components, rather than on hard drives / cd drives e.t.c. It is possible things like the motherboard in your PC will be good enough, saving you money.
Yeah thats a good point. Having a mobo already in could mean you could spend double on a graphics card etc.

I spent around 500-600 euros for my PC a while ago and I can still run most games on highest settings without lag. Although I haven't played any games with a crazy high requirement like Crysis.

So yeh, just save a bit more.

That was the wrong question to ask on these forums

Child prostitution.
that's a nice pic and all, but out of all the pictures you could have taken why'd you take a picture of a plant? :P
-Soviet
Because plants have some really small details. If a plant comes out nice in a photo, you have yourself a good camera ;)

Yes, but if boobs come out really well in a photo you have a picture of boobs

Discussing Marshall's new camera lol^

Not that big of an issue. We like animals and men here, not kids.

Are we talking legal or illegal?

My mate sold pirated software/games outside the computer fair for over a year to buy his PC, and I had a friend who was outselling the local chinese DVD sellers. Other than that, credit card fraud and theft.

Legal way of making money at 14: Ask your parents for a loan, get a poorly paid paper round or wash some cars during summer.

Good luck.

Sucks to get a decent PC at that age. Your birthday is a good day to quickly get some cash.

This is what I do for money, I am 15 right, I sell Xbox 360 games, and also flash xbox 360's (Good money there, because flashing isn't too hard :)), and selling movies to mates for a decent price haha, there sorta isn't a weekly flow of in come, but the money is pretty good and it feeds my cocaine addiction, just kidding... It feeds my giant phone bill, and other stuff :).
