I'm saving up about £300-350 and wondering whats the best gaming computer i can get for that price and to play cod4 obviously

I would suggest not buying a computer in this price range as I firmly believe you will regret it. You would be better off waiting a bit longer until you can afford to spend more money on the computer, and get something that is going to play the games better, and last you a bit longer.
If you have a computer already and you are willing to strip bits out of it, you put yourself in a much better situation as you can likely get your costs down and allow you to spend a little more on the key components, rather than on hard drives / cd drives e.t.c. It is possible things like the motherboard in your PC will be good enough, saving you money.
