Good job, no one wants to see that sick shit. I think its time for this site to become spam free... Somehow, maybe make a simple english test like. Write the word Hello, to get rid of bots. Also I think a new comers first 3-4 posts should be monitored, and the admin/moderator should give the ok before it can be seen publiclysteveuk wrote:Wrong i found A Link to Child /Young Porn link on here the other morning, and told admin to remove it ASAP, befor someone reported it and may of got this cool Site got closed down...only person i saw online when i left a message was Nightmare, maybe he did the right thing and deleted it straight away, but whoever deleted the link with pictures did a good job or removeing it within the hour of my compiant.JDogg wrote:Why am I the one who always finds spam first?

You sure it was "child" and not just "young", I have yet to see a bot post anything illegal, it is not in their interest to do so.
Can the admin who deleted it, confirm or not, because if that sort of material IS getting through, then Peds seriously does have to step up the anti spam.

Registration I believe already has a "CAPTCHA", but even nowadays, bots can get passed these images using specialised software to recognise patterns in letters.JDogg wrote:My idea is goodDrofder2004 wrote:You sure it was "child" and not just "young", I have yet to see a bot post anything illegal, it is not in their interest to do so.

The idea of monitoring first post(s) has been suggested in the private area in the passed, but would be no different than already available.
My idea, is (if possible by addon), is to disallow the users first post to contain BBCODE, images and links. This way, all we get is text.

That is a good idea, also if the text contains http:// or .com etc it isn't shownDrofder2004 wrote:Registration I believe already has a "CAPTCHA", but even nowadays, bots can get passed these images using specialised software to recognise patterns in letters.JDogg wrote:My idea is goodDrofder2004 wrote:You sure it was "child" and not just "young", I have yet to see a bot post anything illegal, it is not in their interest to do so.

Yeah, I was going to say, how can I tell if I'm first to spot them if they aren't there?Soviet wrote:you're not.
