Please let us know if there are any problems relating to the voting. All I plan to do now is add some new skins to the menu and maybe a new layout. The vote system will be more advanced in MW2.

Correct, no it wont. In fact, this is a current announcement that the mod is now final, no new features unless something changes for MW2...

Simple.

As it however been stated before, IW dislike pc community. (I could find the topic if you're gonna argument on this point, but I am pretty sure you'll argument on my second point.)

Having us not buying their game will be a pretty good argument toward activision to be finaly allowed to quit realasing PC games, wouldn't it?

So? Do you really want the quality of games that they are releasing? I am content at this point to retreat to the few companies that still offer somewhat decent PC support (Valve, Blizzard, Bethesda sometimes) and not waste my money on any more mainstream console releases. In fact, I would be all for us going a route like TF2 Jumper or Left 4 Dead Jumper, unfortunately their level designers are actually good :(

If we continue to buy their products, despite their constant drop in quality and support, all we will be doing is saying, "we don't care if you make CoD as advanced as pong, we'll still buy it because we're dumbasses." And they will take that to heart and make crappier and crappier games with less and less support until finally one day the last of us realize and accept how much time we have wasted on a company that doesn't care about us at all and lament for the hundreds of dollars that were wasted. If they stop supporting PC altogether, so be it, they've practically come to that point already. There is no point in feeding money to a company who will not listen to what its community is asking for. It's like living in a totalitarian nation where the dictator simply sits in his palace adorned with the jewels from our labor and builds the fence higher and higher to keep us out as we plead more and more desperately for simpler and simpler things.

I remember back in CoD2 it was a big deal that the mod tools were delayed a few months. Now we're talking about the possibility of buying a game that will not ever have a shred of that support. It is a disgusting transition that I can hardly bear to watch.

Yes, and no.

Activision will know that the PC version didn't sell very well BECAUSE of the news that came out, not because there's not enough interest in a PC version to be brought out.

And as Soviet and KS have said - I would rather not buy a game with terrible MP structure (and encourage them to do it in future), than buy it. Yes, I like the CoD series, but if this is a sign of what it's going to be like for all future releases then it's best to get out now. At least by refusing to buy the game / signing the petition we get to voice our opinion and show that we like the series and are willing to buy it if it's in the form we expected it to be in.
