COD4 Jump SERVER #6

I dont know whats happening to the #6 server, because its getting stuck too often , it always crashes at testart or smth.

You can connect to the server , but then u cant do anything and the olny thing u heard , is the "Pip-pip" sound of the countdown
I really enjoy playing on server 6# and If its really ranked 1. u guys should fix it :S

Firstly, we don't have FTP / web admin access to it, we only have RCON access, so we're not able to fix it ourselves (not as though there's any guarantee that we would be able to), so you're best off pointing [TB]Mike in the direction of your post.

Secondly, I don't know where they got their "ranked 1" server message from, but I don't know of any such rankings

CJ Server is is ranked 1965 in the world of all CoD4 servers.

Pretty good concerning jumping is just a 'side-game' of the actual game.

Means nothing to me without knowing how many proper dedicated servers there are!

Actually, A simple "/rcon fast_restart" fix this little issue, restarting whole server won't really change anything, its mostly likely it'll bug once again one day anyway.

Yep, so I would imagine it's a mod issue as they're running an old school jumping mod.

How can it not be great ? Jumping is not what this game is about, it's about shooting.

But if you look at least 10,000 of those will be empty servers. We are right at the bottom of populated servers based on that.

iirc gametracker counts per player and how many points they earn on a server. Granted the CJ mod hardly grants points it's pretty amazing that the server is ranked so high.

Was ranked second/first on a Rifle/Sniper (Bolt only) server a few months ago. Server was ranked high (A SMART server). Pres and Pwnzor played with me at that times. I pwned! Gametracker is really accurate.

Khmm I didnt create this topic , due which ranking this server are ( yes i thought it was 1# cuz they wrote so) I created it because people really enjoyed playing on this server , sometimes it had over 25 people ... but now to 5 , when its working ofc ...
Cant u guys change a server , and make one oldschool ?

It is oldschool but the server is down.

Down too often ... its like its down for 2 days , and up for a hour or so ...

the problem was with the voting - people kept voting it on to a stock map and because none in rotation it crashed going to next map - voting removed 30mins time limit on server hasn't gone down since.
