where do i save. do i need to make a mods folder or just save it in the "Call of Duty" folder

Place in your "Call of Duty\main" directory, load in DM gametype and it should work.

If it doesn't, try entering "/scr_saveposition 1" in console before you load a map.

i placed it in there then i get a error message when i finished downloading it says it cannot open the file, if that is suppost to happen or it dosent mean anything i start the game, then what do i do

You should just download the file and place it in your 'main' directory. I don't know what that error opening file problem is - make sure you select to SAVE the file when you download it, NOT OPEN.

Make sure you remove any other mods in your 'main' directory that could be conflicting with it.

make a screenshot open folder set view to list, so that you can see all files press print -> paste in paint -> save as .png -> upload here or any imagehoster you like

That may be the case but we can't help you if you don't provide us with details. That's like a doctor trying to diagnose a patient he can't see or speak to. I was mature enough at 13 to be able to follow simple instructions, so you should be able to too. In fact, I started FPS gaming when I was around 13 and ran my own Unreal Tournament clan, so I'm sure you can push yourself to follow simple instructions.

Place the .pk3 in your CoD\main directory, then load CoDMP. Open the console, type '/g_gametype dm' without the 's round it) then press enter. Type '/seta scr_saveposition 1' and press enter again. Type '/map mp_carentan' and press enter again. This should load Carentan on DM gametype. If it doesn't, then tell us what happens - i.e. does it show an error message or does nothing happen? If it shows an error message then what does the error message say? (press Print Screen on your keyboard, then load Paint, paste, then save as .jpg then add it as a post on here). If it loads the map, what happens? Does anything about CoDJumper come up? etc.
