First of all since when is pirating a movie together a couples activity, and secondly, who the hell would risk getting arrested for trying to pirate "Hannah Montana".

If you ever get the chance to have a conversation with these DVD sellers, you will understand WHY these movies are pirated.
The 'boos' as they are called (these people pay over £10,000 to get these illegal immigrants over to this country. It takes several journeys, from China to Thailand and from thailand to European countries and then onwards in freight and lorries.

These DVD sellers work for about 4 years until they pay off their debt and made their boss a substantial amount of money.
The guy we knew quite well made roughly £400+ a week, travelling London pubs and businesses selling DVD's. He would pocket none of this money. He is provided with a bit of money for transport and food but nothing else.

This one boss had roughly 16 chinese guys working for him, each pulling in similar money.
400 * 16 = 6400
* 52 weeks = £332,800
So, the first year, the boss doubles his money.
The next 3 years, its all profits.

I am not sure how similar this is to the US, but thats the rough outline of here.
When they say pirating is a multi-million pound empire, they are not joking.

After those 4 years, they devote their time and effort on making and giving money back to their family in China.
For the money we receive in a normal paid year, they could live on for many, many years.

Like all chinese, their willingness to sacrifice themselves for their families is insane :P

You can never use the word all when refering to a race ;) Unless it is like "all Chinese people are Chinese"

omg Drofder... I never thought the operation was actually that serious :!:
that's a nice pic and all, but out of all the pictures you could have taken why'd you take a picture of a plant? :P
-Soviet
Because plants have some really small details. If a plant comes out nice in a photo, you have yourself a good camera ;)
-Drofder 2004
Yes, but if boobs come out really well in a photo you have a picture of boobs
-Soviet
Discussing Marshall's new camera lol^

Not just serious, but very well organised.
And all the sellers are very loyal.

Do you number your mates 1-16? Or do you have an array for them?
They are named, but categorised.
