CoD:WaW problem

Post by Pedsdude » April 11th, 2009, 2:12 am

This is directed at Drofder, as he's our main mod guy :)

Apparently, since the 1.4 patch came out, our mod has not been working properly.

I've been told that if there's 1 person in the server it's fine, but if a 2nd person tries to join then they get temp banned.

Any information on the matter would be good!

Not really thinking that clearly right now because I'm so tired. But a WaW Mod Tools update was released very recently, would this have anything to do with the issue?
Mod Tools Update Changes wrote:- Custom models no longer crash the lighting process in Launcher.exe when
compiling a map that contains a custom model.
- Converter's "ERROR: dll version number does not match converter version"
error has been resolved.
- Launching "mp_usermaps" in the /mods directory no longer causes clients to be
kicked when joining the host's game.

I think you have to install the mod tools update and re compile.

I have done that. Does the problem exist still?
If not, can someone please FIRST post the error.
Then, delete all codjumper related files.

(Found in C:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Activision\CoDWaW\mods\mp_codjumper)

And also the files in your mods folder.

Then reconnect.
