Can't start up my PC anymore

So my computer froze earlier today.

Restarted it and then shit startened happening.

IT starts up, then you get the option to select how to run windows (In safe mode etc) but first thing I noticed was that my keyboard didn't light up anymore (My G15). So I used one of those crappy keyboards Drofder uses and no luck either.

Anyway, I let the time run out and it loads up, normal windows. Another thing shortly after that (Atleast iirc) is that there's a black screen with a few of these marks: _ It goes like this:

and then it properly starts loading windows. Somewhat at the end of the loading screen I get the blue screen of death. IT happens every single time.

Anyone knows what this is all about ?

Have you tried using a P/S2 Keyboard?

Load with windows disc and repair (although, need input device)
Remove all USB and things that are not needed.

Last summer I was working in a PC shop where they repair stuff and a customer had the exact same problem as you. All we did was removing the system harddrive for a few hours and re-inserted it and it worked. I'm not sure if it will work for you because it didn't really make sense that it would work after removing it but you could try In worst case, you can put a Linux OS on a USB device and install it, then take everything from your harddrive that you need.

If he cannot use a USB keyboard, how do you expect windows to see a USB stick.
But yes, taking out hardware (or trying different hardware) will give good indications of what is or is not the problem.
Go freeze the hard-drive in an air-tight container... I hear that does wonders for faulty HDD's

Indeed, did not even notice the mention of BSOD.

It's fixed. Was something with the motherboard. Got my father to help after puzzling around a bit myself.

Good to see it wasn't a fatal problem. I've lost a 500 GB hard drive and 1 TB hard drive in the past year for no apparent reason

I haven't had that since... December. So far so good!

I'm actually planning on having them taken out over the Summer

I was just thinking to myself, would I attend his funeral? Peds and I actually have a system in place in case of a death, which alerts the other to our death

You would contact my family if you didn't come into contact with me for over 3 weeks? lmao

Btw, in case of emergency, I want "Keane - Bedshaped" to be played at my funeral
