Recommendations for earphones?

Post by Coontang » February 6th, 2009, 10:27 pm

Hey guys, Im looking for some earphones for my ipod, im using the supplied ones and they arent the in-ear style, so little bass and lots of background noise, which is so annoying.

Im not after the crazily expensive sets, but if anybody has come across a good pair, let me know.

I would like the in-ear style if possible.

I might be buying these tomorrow. Its a lot for a pair of earphones, ubt for the amount of music i listen to it will most likely be worthwhiel.

The bose around ear $150 pair is amazing and well worth the money. I don't know about in-ear, i never use them cuz they hurt my ears.
that's a nice pic and all, but out of all the pictures you could have taken why'd you take a picture of a plant? :P

Because plants have some really small details. If a plant comes out nice in a photo, you have yourself a good camera ;)

Yes, but if boobs come out really well in a photo you have a picture of boobs

My friend at school has a pair of bose over the head headphone whatever theyre called. They were really expensive (like more than the ipod) but theyre so unbelievably comfy and block sound and quality is super clear. Dont know which pair would be best :D

I've got handy ones. It has some kind of thingy attached to it, then you can place it over your ears. That way it doesn't fall out easily. It's your standard earphones but with a handy thing to prevent it from falling out.

Been using these kind for 2 years now and it's awesome. You can move (Like on your bicycle) without them falling out of your ears.

I dunno the name I'm affraid but I guarantee you, once you tried these, you don't want your standard earphones.

Wind or rain, NP! Use this one!

similar to mine. these arent attatcched to a clip r anything, theyre just designed to stay in your ears.

theyre 'ear canal headphones' so horrible as it may seem you wedge them in really far into y9our ear. however, tihs gives truly amazing bass and blocks out almost all annoying background noise, all this and they never fall out because theyre wedged in.

Yep, I don't hear anything when I got them in.

Thing is, they are placed in your ear and remain there, they never fall out. Something which I hated with your standard earphones.

I had the volume with the normal earphones at around 28, now with the ones I've been using I have the volume on 21. I can hear everything perfectly. Such a simple design, yet so perfect. You barely feel as if you have those things over your ears,
