Hi guys. Yesterday, in my school 3 students were caught while drugging

Today the headmaster and the teachers made a meeting and I was there too, and they all asked what they should do in order to stop pupils from drugging. If you had this kind of problems in your school, please post here and tell me what they did in order to fix it !
Thanks in advance.

The old method my Nan would have done may solve the problem...
If a person was seen smoking a cigarette, the punishment was for the person to either eat or smoke the rest of the pack until they were sick.
Now, maybe a mild overdose of the drug, would be a nice deterrent... or they may just become major addicts...
Idea #2.
When caught, hand them over to the police. Our school had a no-nonsense attitude to illegal activities. You got caught, you were held until police arrived.
Random bag and locker searches by staff, I think has been legalised in the UK, although I cannot confirm it. If you are not carrying anything illegal, then you have nothing to worry about. Personal searches are still only legal by the police and they must also have a reasonable suspicion to do so.
Make examples of people, caught with drugs, permanent exclusion on their record, the chances of getting a new school, that isnt more strict is unlikely.

I seem to recall this happening outside my old school for a 1 week period, literally loads of cops at the gates every day picking 1 in 10 that walked past and giving them a "stop and search".
We have always had a police patrol and a police camera van outside, but never have I seen a stop and search.

In all honesty it isn't going to stop. Random police checks, locker searches, and sniffing dogs will hardly make an impact. My school district has a 'crimestoppers' program where any student can anonymously report someone doing drugs to the police officer who works at the school and they will be checked out. You also get a reward for it (up to $100). However, everyone either doesn't care or is afraid to report.
I don't know about your country, but here I think I know more people that do drugs than people that don't in my school of over 2000. Drinking is very common, as is smoking tobacco. However, the most common is easily Marijuana. I'd guess close to 50% of the school smokes pot. The truth is, you can't stop it. Kids are going to do drugs no matter what anyone does. Something may help a little, but nothing will help enough to make a difference.

If i had to estimate how many people did drugs in my school, i'd say 10-15% (out of 3300 people). We don't have searches, rewards for turning them in, or anything that would scare them. I don't know anyone personally (as in, being a friend of mine) that does drugs of any kind. Drinking alcohol underage and doing drugs is considered being retarded at my school, and not "cool".

You're shitting me. I know about 3 drug dealers and at least 15-20 'weed' smokers (or ex-smokers). I also know that the majority of my sixth form (males mainly) smoked it.

I am not shitting you, its not tolerated at my place and I know SO few people that have used drugs e.t.c. I don't associate with them and they are frowned upon as retards.
+1

I've smoked weed outside of the school gates and carried it on me. But we don't have a issue with it at my college so we don't have any police checks, lockers checks or w/e. Some of my teachers know that I use drugs and joke about it lol. "is the Pineapple express based on your life Tom?". There is a surprising lack of drug users at my school :S I know loads of people who have done drugs, but only as a one off thing. All the proper druggies and both dealers left last year.
The main thing our school cares about is the younger years smoking. In sixth form we are allowed, but lower years sneak out of school all the time to smoke. They seem to care about trivial things like uniform abit too much. We're not allowed jeans, trackies, trainers or clothing with writing on it. One more warning and i'm suspended for my cloths. I don't own a pair of trousers that arnt black jeans and I don't own a pair of shoes. And i'm not buying any.

Lol. We're not allowed jeans because "Some people may not own jeans and they may feel left out if other people wear them". Everyone owns a fuckin pair of jeans. Mental my school is.

Not all schools, but most schools employ the uniform on the basis of "make poor kids less upset by you wearing better clothes" sort of idea, which is bollocks because they charge you to buy the uniform. This is not a uniform for anti-bullying but a uniform for racism and market control
6th Form never required unfirom or had any rules against it, although I am pretty sure a T-shirt saying "Nigga4Life" or something similar would've been shunned
