Is it possible to run the codjumper mod on cod 4 in the new macbook 2009 with leopard.

I'm pretty sure yes, the mods folder may be in library/application support/call of duty 4 or library/application support/activision/call of duty 4. Do a search.

I have no idea how Macs work etc, but if CoD4 works on it isn't it possible to just join the server and it'll download it?

Yes. I have a iMac 24'' with leopard. I simply went to a codjumper mod server and it automatically started downloading for me. Works wonderful for macs. be sure to download the maps designed for it also.
