imo, CoD:WaW will be the best when/if mods are made for it and custom maps. otherwise, it will suck ass.

CoD2 is heavily outdated now but I've played CoD1 and CoD2 the longest of all games on the internet.

I love CoD4 aswell, but nothing can beat the awesomeness of CoD1 ofcourse.

I didnt like cod 1 much.

Cod UO wasnt much better/worse.

Cod 2 I have been playing since release till now and beyond, very good game.

Cod 4 is a very good game but it seems a bit advanced and complicated (lots more things to do when jumping over cod 2)

Cod 5 I havent played, except the xbox 360 beta which i thought was so-so.

Second note about call of duty 2, because it is direct x 7 also, it runs a hell of a lot better than recent games. I men, for myself, I can get full everything on directx7 with 1680x1050 and 2/4x aa and it runs more than playably smooth, but to run cod 4 even the slightest i need LOWEST settings possible for everything, and a tiny resolution and it is still nowhere near.

I think if i upgraded i would still play cod 2...I thiink the graphics/gameplay are still awesome nowadays, even with the high tech budget bursting crysis etc out

I am tempted to get the Cod WAW for xbox 360, but i only really ant it for single player and zombies. I dont have much interest in the multiplayer.

True. CoD2 is like the same as CoD1 but with new maps and more gameplay tweaks. That's why CoD2 is more fun. But CoD1 has some of the best maps.

Whats your favourite cod map of all time? Mine would be any of toujane from cod 2, carentan from cod 1/2 and gob_rats

lol @ how badly WaW is doing.

I voted CoD2, would have voted CoD had it been an option.

In terms of enjoyable gameplay, I definately believe they've gradually got worse. Every time a new game came out it took me a few weeks to feel comfortable playing it. It's not that they're bad games on their own, far from it, it's just that the predecessor to each new CoD game is better than the new one!

I liked CoD2.

Only had to get used to CoD4 since that's a huge different. A completely new game as a whole.
