How do I bounce and jump?

I'm sorta confused with these bounce jumping things. Can I do these jumps on the PS3? Because I would really like to do this, or is it a mod that can only be done on the PC? Thanks.

I think u can bounce on PS3 but im not 100% sure.

Bouncing on PS3 = Possible

I tried it at my friends house, but the only bounce i could make was the District small bounce :S

it obviously won't be as easy considering the controller you are using, but of course it is possible. It is the same engine no matter the platform and thus possible.

Oh, and not to be rude or anything, but consoles suck (except for sport and racing games), get a pc.

For most bounces u need more forward speed then you get when u jump normal. In other words, you need to strafejump in order to bounce. Strafejumping with a controller is very hard I think.

oh okay, thanks guys. But how come you need to increase fps? You can't do that on a PS3 so this is kinda confusing me.

certain fps's allow players to jump slightly higher and further. These slight increases can make a huge difference such as bouncing much higher when jumping. You don't have to, but it drastically helps.
