To all of football loving brits, im sorry, but Im gonna open up this topic anyway.

You can discuss anything related to the european championship here.

Lets start it.. Who are your favorite teams?

I hope holland will win, but I highly doubt they'll even get through group stage. In the group with Italy, france and Romania. Romania seems the weakest team in this group, but holland werent even abled to beat them in the qualifying matches, not in their personal encounters with them and not in the overall ranking of that group.

I think russia will be the surprise of the championship.
Dont know who the winner will be, lot of good teams playing. I think Italy, France, Germany or Portugal.

I really really hate football because every famous player are so over-payed. It's ridiculous how much they are payed. Other than that, I hope that a third world country wins, for example Brazil.

The top earning ppl in big companies are overpayed way more as football players.. Top men in big companies earn 10's of millions when they get fired!!!
Soccerplayers.. ye overpriced, but they do risk seriously fucking up their body (playing top sport for a long time will seriously damage your knees, ankles, and other body parts).
And the fact that theyre overprised is not a reason to dislike the game/sport. They cant help that clubs want to pay them that much.

I think the surprise will be Russia, but Romania too, I expect them to get through the group stage and maybe even further, since they have nothing to loose.

I always enjoy watching Portugal, good players, nice team and they play a good football. Their two goals against Turkey where really really nice and well played and they absolutely deserved to win.

I just do NOT want the Italians to win, I hate them and their gamestyle, and I was frustrated when they won the Wourld Champoinship
