frag movie

can any help me make a frag movie or give me a link. i need step by step instructions,cos i'm a plug.
ive got sony vegas 5,ive heard that i can use that software to create a frag movie.
in my main file in cod i have 2100 snapshots by using the commands cl_avidemo 30.
i want to convert them into a movie by i have'nt any idea how to go about it.

please can anybody out there help

use VideoMach to convert those pics into raw avi (with no in game sound) and then use your vegas to edit the raw avi however u want with your song

"OK at last I found the command I was looking for.

Its cl_avidemo.

First, load up CoD (or UO, whatever the demo is )
bring down the consol and type /cl_avidemo 25 and press enter.
Note, 25 is the frames per second, so for every second, it will spit out 25 pictures. (Yes I know that wouldnt be very good for gaming, but 25fps is what we see in the cinema and tv, so it will be fine, maybe even too good, so you could play with it and try reducing it to 20, even 15.
Then play your demo - /demo "demoname"
Your demo will then play, but it will be extremely jerky, and take a bloody long time, as remember it is basically taking a screenshot of every frame.

Once it has finished, you will find in your Call of Duty/Main/Screenshot folder a crapload (and i mean that - you'll need a fair bit of space) of TGA picture files. Dont mess with them.

You now need to download this extremely handy little program which is a substitute for any complicated editing program you might have had to use.

unzip and open the program.

It's extremely easy to use as you will see. Just point it to the directory where all your TGA files are saved, type in an input name (i cant actually remember the purpose of this..) and change the picture type to TGA.
Now theres the option to add a wav file - which is cool. I havnt used this, so play with it at your leisure.
Then all you have to do is set the name of the .avi, where you want it to save to, and change the frame rate to whatever you outputed the demo at (if you set cl_avidemo 25 then put in 25). Now i dont know what the key rate is, so leave it at 1 then Voila, click create and you're done! You now have a sexy .avi file which anyone can watch or you can make a lot of em from different demo's, and edit em together into a sexc movie, but thats another story

Now you may want to compress it if you're gonna upload it or send it to someone, but you can research that yourself
Oh, and remember, after you've done making the images from the demo, type /cl_avidemo 0 to put it back to normal"
