How good does the quality come out? Settings used, resolution, etc?

I really like this method, doesn't lag the game while you are playing, the only annoying thing is the white text in the lower left corner.

Powerpoint!KillerSam wrote:That will take 60screenshots a second (so do it from a demo to stop lag) - then you find a program to put them all together

oOKillerSam wrote:/cl_avidemo 60
dont use 60!
use cl_avidemo 25.... since 25 it wont lagg anymore... and with 60 the .avi file will be slower then it is in game...
+ the file size will be much bigger with 60 then 25

use virtualdub then
Re: Record A Movie 2
why should u make ur movie with 60fps? it will just make the filesize from ur movie bigger.... 25 is enough..
24fps is for pal and enough for cinema etc but not for avi or wmv files for pc.. no1 uses pal there ^^

Re: Record A Movie 2
I use cl_avidemo 30, although if there was a bit where I wanted very slow motion with reasonable FPS then I would increase that to another value. Once it's taken all the screenshots (which will take up a lot of space on your hard drive - in the gigabytes), use a program called VideoMach to convert them all to avi file, which can then be used in Sony Vegas, Windows Movie Maker, etc.

Re: Record A Movie 2
I recorded for like 15 secs and its 500 mb!. So once I convert it to avi will the file size go down?

Re: Record A Movie 2
Yes. The lower the avidemo number, the smaller the total filesize is going to be of the images (because less of them will be taken), so avidemo 30 will take up half as much space as avidemo 60. Once you've converted them to avi it'll be a smaller file, but don't forget to delete the screenshots you took!

the correct way & full guide-> http://www.callofduty.se/slize/quality.php
& to the other dudes, it doesn't matter what fps u use, it depends on what effect u will be
using in the scene, the human eye can only see 27frames per second
in CS movies they usely use 60-120, so it's much better quality for slowmotion
