Anyone know of any software that welcomes you when you login to your PC, and welcomes you with like.
Hello How are you today, and says good bye when you logout.?

anyone know of any .? if so let me know where i can download some for a friends PC

Just record your computer saying "Hello Dave" and then change the windows start up sound.

Thats what i told him, but i thought i ask anyways.lol
I did find a site for him with welcome sounds he could use, but were un-insure where to put the sound files, anyone knows where they go.? what folder/ect

Put them wherever you want.

1. From the Start menu, select either Control Panel, or Settings and then Control Panel.

2. Click the Sounds and Audio Devices icon. Then click the Sounds tab.

3. Under "Program Events", select Start Windows. You can select a sound from the drop-down menu or you can click the Browse button to select a .wav file. Windows will then play this sound during startup. If you don't want Windows to play any sound during startup, select (None) from the drop-down menu.
