I want to make several like this but with differant angels, so advice on this would be greatfull.

I think it's paint. There would be no point opening Photoshop to make an ultra realistic image of two containers. Just a quick way to visually show what he wants to do.

use the view from side (CTRL+TAB) and press R to rotate
