PunkBuster Problem Can get on Servers

Ok im having major PunkBuster Problems i Cant get on Servers, here what im getting.

Ive uninstall COD4 and Reinstalled it, i did PunkBuster download to from the PB website, but i also run PB from the DVD.
Im getting this error al lthe time ,an im on servers for less than 1 minute at a time.

Ive goto registries and deleted them and check the Windos/System 32 directory, cleaned all i could find and then re-install Punkbuster, tryed game and still same think happens.

I also notice that PnkBstrA sometime diserpears, and even tho i have a copy on my other HardDrive, i copy over to system 32, and sometime it stays sometimes it dont. I aldo noticed i DONT have PnkBstrK to be found anywhere, tihs i think is the cause, but i cant get this file anywhwere, can someone copy and zip up a copy for me and send to my email manickiller@hotmail.co.uk or link it for a download.???

Be best if someone could send me all 3 exe files if possible. PnkBstrA & PnkBstrB & PnkBstrK
Without these i dont think i can get on servers, ive emailed PB and not getting much help from them as yet.

Also i have notice thse files are not in my Firewall as yet, coz they need running to be placed there.

go to start-->run-->msconfig-->Services-->look for PnkBstrA and if its unchecked, check it off and then it'll work

Hi, well i checked there ,but both are checked,ticked, so that cant be the proble.??

make sure ur firewalls arent blocking pnkbstrA and B because they both need internet access and ur firewall might block it

Ive had this problem for a long time too.. My cure was idd a firewall. I allowed it by the firewall but when I installed new graphics drivers it installen an other one that I didnt know off.. And that was what blocked it. Make sure u allow it by the firewall.

I checked firewall and it been added to be let through, i cant see it on Norton 360 i did uninstall 360 then tried again but i was still gettting the same error, so i reinstall Norton 360.

Steill getting this darn error

Nope The windows fire wall is off due to administration problems..lol I reinstall Norton 360 and i have disable that to, so realy all firewall i know of are off right now. it's either my darn wireless router not letting in the reciveing packs to PB, ot there a problem with PB totaly my side or there.???

I may think of doing a system format and just starting fresh as i also have probs with COD4Radiant, but thats only if i need to. with PB not working i cant play any pf my games online... COD1,2,4 OU, FEAR, DOOM, and a few others.

Ive even check google on this PB issue and did what forums have said but still nothink works.

Ive just tried my other Pc and Punkbuster works fine on there with COD2. so why this PC not letting PB thro i dont knoe.

I tried to change over HardDrives,hopeing i can put my 120-gi on here and the 250 onto the old PC, but it just kepted shutting down after login, so looks like i may have to format this PC tomorrow (if i fill like it) just to get fucking Punkbuster working on here.

It gota be a firewall problem even tho they both turned off.???? Administration wont let me in they all grayed out, a few major things are wrong with this machine, o a Full format may have to be done sooner or later, Even Explorer keep bringing up shit even when i have norton 360 on and spyware programes running.

What i would do:

-Press ctrl + alt + delete and look for PnkBstrA & PnkBstrB. If they'r there i don't know

-Also, be shure to run it under the account Administrator

(Goto windows log on screen (with usernames) and press ctrl + alt + delete and delete again. type in Administrator and the admin pass.)
-Disable all your antivirus (good antivirus blocks communication between 2 uknown apps.)
-Disable your firewall
-Do what cool says

-If you have a router, try running CoD4 when connected without router.
-Also get something else as Norton, i wanne bet some console antiviruses are better.
-Do more google searches

the problem lies in either Norton or your Router. May be worth checking the evenbalance site for support.

This shit was giving me to much shit and a headache, i even had Explorer Problems, and Spyway hijacking my Webpages ,even tho i had spyware and crapp on it did shit, i just gave in a formatted the fucking harddrive , and install it all again.. Cod4 Now is working again,
Normaly i was being kicked like within 1-2 mins, today i check and i was on 5 mins or so and didnt get kick errors, so hopefully Fingers Crossed i should be ok now.

That problem is cause by either:
1. firewall or antivirus blocking it.
2. PB has not installed correctly, do a clean reÃ¯nstall of the game.

Since you allready reÃ¯nstalled PB my guess its a firewall or antivirus aswell.

I formatted the GHardDrive got fed up with PB kicking via Firewall or what ever, still i think it's working ok now, all i have a problem with now is with Radiant Compiler, when i try to compile and run map, it keeps asking for the DVD, and the DVD is in the drive, and NO the DVD workis ok as i have 2 COD4 DVD disks and it's doing it on bouth of them, and DVD drive is working ok or i wouldnt of got COD4 on.
