cod4 radiant

First i just tried to run cod4 radiant with vista and it didnt work. So i instaled VMware and in that i instaled windows xp. I instaled cod4 and my mod tools but when i try to run them i get this error:

any ideas?

1. Run the tools in compatibility mode.
2. check the wiki, that error is listed.

why should i run it in compatibility mode?...i have xp and vista on the same comp. ....
i cant find it on wiki....can you please link it?

Because firstly VMWare I believe is only simulation, you are better off just using compatibility mdoe in Vista...
Sorry, seems I was wrong, it not on the wiki, check the IW forums instead...
