For the smokers

Post by helium » January 5th, 2008, 5:05 pm

Ok, so I have been smoking since I was 10 years old (yes, its crazy), and now I have reached the age of 16, and I felt that I really need to quit smoking. My mom quit smoking a few months ago, and at the start I didn't think she would make it through 5 hours (she smoked for 28 years now), but she surprised me, because after 3 days without smoking she didn't even feel like grabbing a cigarette. All thanks to a man named Allen Carr. Allen Carr is a guy that smoked 100 cigarettes per day for 33 years, and when he quit he wrote a book called EasyWay. It helped my mom, and I thought I'd read it aswell. You might think that quitting smoking for me is piece of a cake, but it isn't that easy.

I finished reading the book today, and now I am already laughing at why I didn't quit before. I don't know how it made me feel like this, but I am just so happy and I want to recommend EasyWay to every single smoker out there who don't want to fuck up your life. The book doesn't involve anything about scary stuff, how your lungs look like after a while etc, no weightgaining, no worries about absinence, without any helptools or medicines, it's just 100% natural.

The book has been translated to like 30 different languages, so that it will be very easy for you to read. It is about 230 pages (EVERY SINGLE PAGE IS WORTH TO READ!) and costs about $8. 6.000000 people has bought the book, and it helped 96% that read it to quit. Pretty many people, aye? Think about it, all you need to do is to spend 4 hours of reading, and I can guarantee you that you will quit! The weird thing is that the book is really, really intresting to read aswell. I'm definitely not the guy that reads books, but this one is so good. There is nothing you can lose on buying + reading!! And if you're not a smoker, but your mother/sister/brother/friend is, buy the book for him/her and tell him/her to read it! I can not explain what the book is about, but it contains some humor, and every word is unique.

At the end of the book it says something like "After you read this sentence, close the book and take your last cigarette. Suck it in and feel the smoke get in your lungs, feel the disgusting taste of the cigarette etc..."

I really don't know what to say about the book, it's just excellent. If you feel unsure about the whole situation, just google Allen Carr or Easyway, and you'll be able to read some stuff about it. If you really want to quit, this will be your miracle. Damn, dunno what more to type, just read the book!! :D

GL TO ALL OF YOU THAT WANTS TO QUIT SMOKING !!

My mum and dad smoked when they were like 20. My mum quit when she got pregnant, she didn't have any trouble quitting. My dad quit when he realised how bad he was getting, yellow fingers an all that. He didn't have any trouble either.

I smoke at party's or if i'm just out with mates an' that. Only socially. I'm not affected by it because I don't smoke too often. The occasional nicotine rush / the taste of a cigar is all I like . Or weed.

Good luck quitting :P

Well that's not certain though is it? Are you going to learn to drive? Because driving a car could cause your death.

I never ever smoked either. Planning to keep it like that.

If you don't smoke, you're not missing out on anything at all. No big deal.

I'm not defending smokers, as in those who smoke daily and are addicted. I don't see the point of that, but I don't see what's wrong with enjoying the occasional smoke.

My great Uncle has had throat cancer twice, from drinking too much alcohol. I don't defend people who are alcoholics, but what's wrong with having the occasional drink? Same as smoking.

Smoking does irreversable damage and is bad for you in any amount, alcohol isn't necessarily bad for you. Take wine for instance, it's been proven that drinking a certain amount of wine can actually help you to live longer.

If you want to have your one smoke per week then fine, but it's not doing you any good.

Smoking is an extremely stupid concept. You are inhaling smoke and toxic chemicals. Why the hell?
