Mouse freezing
Until yesterday, I've been playing CoD4 perfectly fine for the past week or so, however, for some reason my mouse freezes and stops working on occasions while I play.
It typically happens every minute or so (the time period between freezing is not constant), and lasts for around 2-3 seconds. Everything else works perfectly fine, I can move around etc., it's just the mouse which stops working entirely (motion, left, right and middle click).
It only seems to work in-game, so it must be something to do with CoD4 causing it. I don't know whether or not it's just CoD4 because I haven't played any other games recently.
I tried unplugging and then plugging the mouse back in, but it still does it randomly during games.
Any ideas?

every mouse i use with COD4 it freezes or hangs on game startup for a few seconds, then starts then freezes again for another couple of seconds, not more than 5-10 seconds on each freeze.
I ge this every day, im using a wireless mouse, that takes batteries, and batteries are always charged or renewed with fresh charged one every couple of days. Im not sure why this happenss myself, ive tryed driver setings, and that had no effect (have you done driver reconfig yaself)??,like you it started ok for the first week or two then started freezing, i gave up looking on how to resolve this problem and just suffer the freeze on game startup every day now.
If you resolve the problem please let me know what caused your problem.

I hope I don't have trouble with my wireless mouse in CoD4 :Osteveuk wrote:every mouse i use with COD4 it freezes or hangs on game startup for a few seconds, then starts then freezes again for another couple of seconds, not more than 5-10 seconds on each freeze.
