Help with downloading!

Post by tivo304 » April 20th, 2005, 9:21 pm

Hey I went to the download page (http://www.codjumper.com/maps) and I downloaded the map. But, when i unzipped the map, there wasn't a .pk3 file in there, which runs the map!!! How do i download, and unzip these the right way?

If you cannot change your file extension (because it is not visible to change) you need to go to:
Control Panel < Folder Options. Then select the 'View' tab at the top and look down the list for "Hide extensions for known filetypes". Uncheck that box, and change the .zip to .pk3

I didn't know how to do this first. I think there should be a small description on that page on how you can play the maps. It's no surpirse that people can't get it to work.

I'll talk with Peds about this ;)

Idea: Just place the pk3's in zip-files, ppl know how to unzip, so they just have to unzip it and play ;)
