Jumping more Offern i hope NEW Keyboard & Mouse..lol

Post by steveuk » December 3rd, 2007, 4:21 pm

Well i said it and i ment it, i wanted to get a new keyboard and mouse due to my other K/B kepted playing up, and the worse keys on he K/B that kepted playing up was 'W' 'Shift' & SpaceBar, amon ones for game playing..

Well i didn thave much cash to spend today as i only got £40 for my Birthday... :( .. So i got a crappy cheap PC Line WIRED Keyboard from PC World, and a Labtec 5 Button mousefrom Argus..Had some problems gettingthem working, keyboard kept shtting down the PC untill i uninstalled old drivers from old K/B

Keyboard cost £10 ,mouse cost £15, there was a realy nice mouse in PC Word but they wanted £69:00 for it,lol and a gaming keyboard was also £59:00, cash i didnt have. so cheap shit is what i had to get.Mind you i say cheap, sometimes i hink thecheap stuff works better than the exspesive stuff, ya realy just paying for the name/Brand. ect.

Well ive got the mouse kinda half programed, Key 4 is also acting as JUMP as well as Spacebar for COD4, so if the Spacebard goes on either least i have a backup..lol, not sure what to use Mouse button 5 for yet tho, maybe a Right Strafe key.dont know.??

Anyways hope to get jumping a bit better now on COD4 lol I HOPE.

See ya there later tonite guys..

I just have a standard mouse and keyboard. If you play shooters you seriously don't need the best of the best keyboard to be good. I got a cheap one although I would like a new one (But later). I do think you need a good mouse and a headset for gaming so I pay more attention to the quality then the mony.

Got a crap mouse myself now, other one is broken, gimmeh more buttons >.<

thatswhat i saw at PC-World today G5 at i think was £59. Pcworld is always so dear on prices, i only go there coz it's like 10-min walk and if anythink screws up i can take it back the same day for a replacement or refund, buying by post/online take days for delivery, and extra costs in returning faulty goods for replacment or refunds, so ya spending more than you expect to be spending..

Here what i like in Logitech ,check out his link.

MX-tm 518 gameing mouse, looks nice but i think it was around £40-£45 in Pcworld.

Aslong as there's enough buttons on a mouse I'm good. 3 normal buttons, buttons on the side, scrolls + tiny buttons next to that again. Seriously, if possible I would like all buttons on my mouse and only movement keys on the keyboard :P

Logitech MX500, tbh, all the later models like the mx518 and stuff are exactly the same except they cost more. The only reason I'd ever go for above an mx500 is a laser mouse instead of optical. I've had mine for over 2 years and it still works amazingly

As for keyboard, I have zboard like ks, but I've got Guild Wars and Battle for Middle Earth 2 keysets instead of CoD2
