question about my new comp's specs

Post by Deadly » September 11th, 2007, 9:22 pm

well i ordered a new comp and its coming in 3 days. but i cant stand it waiting to see if some games will work with it.

its Genuine Windows Vista® Home Basic

it has a Intel® Pentium® Dual-Core E2160 (1.80GHz, 1MB L2 Cache, 800FSB) procceser

1GB Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM 667MHz - 2DIMMs ram

and a 256MB NVIDIA® GeForce® 8600GT graphics card.

will vcod cod2 css work with it and how much fps will i get in the games?

any responses would be greatly appreciated (before 3 days =] )

They'll all work, as for FPS, I'm not entirely sure.

Don't know for sure, i'd think you'd get around 333 in cod and at least 250 in cod 2.

i tink u get maximum 100 fps on cod2
vista is very heavy

css someting like 80 not sure

u need to buy a good processor cooler so u can clock to 3,2ghz
i tink u better take a x1950 graphic card its much better for les money
ok its not dx10 but better 50 fps on dx9 than 2 fps on dx10 ;)

Infiniti ( the former cj member) has a 8600gt, he gets 250 fps in the stock maps of cod2.. but not steady. Just for jumping, not in normal play.
He does have a faster cpu then you. e6550 ^^
