Junior Rcon mod...
So in my CoD:UO clan, the leader is all.. uptight about giving out Rcon password, for fear of people abusing it. This becomes a problem because random people will come into the server and start acting up and causing problems when there is not an admin on.
So a friend and I are deciding to look into a mod for a Junior Rcon. What we're intending for this to do is to create a second completely different Rcon which will have limited abilities, and maybe even some custom Rcon abilities (Kick to spec, Rename player, Mute player..).
Has anyone tried this before, or have any information on this which would help us out? It'd be greatly appreciated.

I know this is possible with CSS, but I am not 100% sure that this can be done with CoD. It could be done, but I do not know how.

Yeah, thats our problem. We know it can be done, but we're realising that this could mean going in and editing the game engine, as Rcon came with the Q3 engine, which was used for several games including CoD. This is something we'll have to work on for a long time before we get somewhere lol.

I don't think it has anything to do with the q3 engine, if you would want to look for limitations of rcon passwords you would probably have to change something in the servers cfg.

I just assumed it had something to do with the Q3 engine because the Rcon is very similar to all the other Q3 games I've heard of...

its not the gsc your looking for, its the cfg. I honestly do not know what to add though to make it so it limits rcon powers

you could maybe use the phprconmod and change it so that only some commands are possible

I am sorry but I don't think its possible, I search all over the codfiles website and found nothing.
The only thing I think would be possible would be to "cheat protect" in a way some rcon commands for different rcon users. But I don't even know if it could be done.
