Problems downloading maps

ok, i tried downloading lev_facilities but it wasnt iwd.

I tried downloading mp_tevy but guess what? It wasnt iwd.

I also tried mp_railway thingamybob. Wat a suprise? not iwd.

What is going on? I just wanna test lev facilities and lay myy maps but i cant. The files are the xmodels, the sounds, the textures etc.

Any help?

it lets me start the map via devmap, but thats it. It shows the screenie (if there is one) and then it say

couldnt load (mapname).ds3dsp thing.

Help plz

the links are the iwd you dont have to extract them just put it into the mainfolder o.O

maybe go in the explorer to Extras->Options (Diroptions dunno the phrase in english) -> and enable to show all fileextensions

ok i downloaded mp_tevy from a different location, with extra file (readme) and it showed the iwd and the readme. When i double clicked the iwd it came with what i see when i download from here. Im not sure whats really going on.

When i download from here, i get the iwd files, but not the iwd.

When i downloaded the mp_tevy from elsewhere, it showed the iwd (and the readme).

Do you think it is my winrar, set o automatically opened iwd files, cause when i had the readme with it, it showed both files.

Help?

maybe did u associate the iwd with WinRaR and which browser do you use, did u try to use and other one than your nomal

internet explorer - i havent messed with winrar. I reinstalled it still no luck

I changed all the CoD2 maps so that the files on the site are .iwd instead of .zip/.rar - all you need to do is download them and put them in your main directory. Alternatively, you could right click on the map name and save target as, then save it in your main and it should work fine.
