As a non drinker, why is it that people who knows you always keep buying you Bottles of Wine for your Birthday or For Christmas.
Every year for the last 10 years my wife's employer has given me wine, a close friend also has given wine every year for 5 years.
Other friends buy wine for me at Xmas to, what did i just get the other day Christmas Eve, YEP ya got it, WINE, from 3 people who knows i dont drink the stuff. GRRR The problem is they give me this stuff and it ends up in other people bellies..lol cos the wife openes it with out asking me and her friends comsume it for me.
Now Wine comes in differant price rages, i know the wine the wifes employer give me is not cheap, i think 1 bottle she gave me a few years ago cost around £30, i know coz i looked at the price on the internet..lol, But i never got to drink it, the wifes friends drunk it without asking.
I know if i kepted every bottle of wine i have ever been given me i could open my own wine celler..lol But every year without fail all wine given to me gets drunk without asking me first coz wife takes charge in this darn house. She's the BOSS..lol
Question is why do people keep on giving me wine.. i dont want the darn stuff if i cant drink it myself, why cant they just give me the cash, or buy me a few pairs of socks or some other iteam of clothing, or even a book or somethink for my computer, ect...Is it because they have brought so much wine themselfs and they dont like it they decide to pass on to me.??
God i just wished they stop giving me wine and give me somethink differnt each year..lol
