setting my fps to 125

hey, how would i set my fps to 125 ?? as pedsman said i did /CG_DRAWFPS 1 in console so it shows my fps then i did /COM_MAXFPS 125 but when i do it my fps up in top right corner is 60 and i still cant do the jump in mp_jump the one where u go down the chimney (second house i believe) all the way up top befor u jump on ledge to climb the wooden stick to get out window ....
