Hello guys,
I would like to ask if it still make sense to donate a server?!
I've added nearly every admin/core member on xfire but I've got the feeling that everyone is inactive, so I would like to ask here.

Erm probably not in my opinion. The official CoDJumper servers lists needs to be updated. Currently there are 12 servers but only 5 of of them are actually online (as of writing this). This has been the case for quite some time now as well. Not to mention the fact that they are usually empty but what do you expect with a 7 year old game.
If you still want to donate a server though by all means go ahead, if you manage to get a response from higher (420 blaze it) staff that is.

a descent stock maps server, as good old Cj#4 would be really appreciated by the way

I'm with Zero on this one... CoD4 is nowhere near as popular as it used to be for jumping (or shooting, for that matter).

If you want to donate a server then by all means, please do so, but I don't expect it would get many visitors and so would probably be a waste of your money.

I'm running linux machines, so it doesn't matter what CoD.
At the moment I'm running one CoD4 - Promod server and its a waste of resources.
So would I like to give it a try.
Any suggestions? Maps, game,..?

- I've set set cj_sponsor "0", but there are still LowPings advertisments!(1)
- Is it right that there is no RPG?(2)

I've just joined your server, a few points / answers to your questions:

- RPG is still there, press the key you would normally use to bring it out (for me, it's the number 4 key). If you're not sure what key to use, do /bindlist in console and find "+actionslot 4"

- cj_sponsor 0 should be removing that LowPings banner, so I'm not quite sure what's going on here. If you'd like, I could take a look at your server config etc. to make sure? (I have you on Xfire, although you're currently offline)

- Your server currently has a download loop bug, so I doubt many people will be able to join it unless they know what they're doing. To fix this, you need to copy every map .iwd file into your codjumperv3_12b folder (so that you have 2 copies on your server FTP)

I was typing a reply to your Xfire message, but unfortunately you went offline.

Make sure that you copy the iwd files, don't just move them. You need a copy in the map folder itself and the mod folder.

With regard to the LowPings banner, it's forced on in the v3_12b mod. If you don't want it then you'll have to either modify the .iwd file, or use the v3_1 mod and the config command as above.

Yep, it seems to be working fine now.

If you want to get rid of the LowPings advert then you'll have to use codjumperv3_1 instead.

Other than that, please rename the server to #1 and I'll get it added to the website

Server renamed and I don't really care about the banner, maybe it will help LowPings in any way.
I'm a private person and not a provider, so who cares.

For all players, if you miss something e.g. maps, just send me a pm and ill upload/fix it as soon as possible.
