What do you guys use to listen to music?

Post by JDogg » February 10th, 2012, 6:14 am

Itunes? Doubletwist? VLC? Winamp?

I use Foobar 2k and I wanted to show off a theme I made based off this one

I changed everything around, got rid of the band bio (Tho I thought it was cool, maybe I'll try to make room for it later), added a different button set, and added the volume slider. All the work is in the original I just changed things around :). Oh and the reason I changed things around is because of this http://i.imgur.com/3sMfO.png it didn't fit the screen and annoyed the crap out of me but the theme was too awesome to let go of so I fixed it.

EDIT: Changed a few things around, mostly the backgrounds of the other panels so it all looks neat and moved things so there's not so much wasted space.

A lot of people use Winamp but I could never get used to it.

Itunes pissed me off way too many times. I had to re create all my playlists at least once every few months due to something going wrong. Maybe it's better now but Itunes on Windows always sucked for me, and used heaps of ram. I stuck with Itunes because I had an Ipod, but eventually bit the bullet and installed Foobar and the ipod manager plugin.

I have no problems with it personally. I listen to a lot of podcasts (subscribe to about 20, which I listen to regularly) so it's great for syncing that shit for me to my iPod Touch.
Yeah that was pretty much the only reason I was using Itunes, podcasts and my Ipod Touch, I stopped listening to podcasts a while ago but I'm thinking about listening again. Itunes is definitely the best looking and easiest way to get podcasts, I'm sure foobar can do it but it wouldn't be as simple as with Itunes, so I'll give it that :P.

Spotify. Works with my ipod and doesn't use absurd amounts of RAM.

iTunes. It's a bit slow and processor-intensive, but it works fine for me

iTunes. Used to have an iPod but don't anymore, but I very much like the program so I've stuck with it.
