Youtube is an American site, meaning that if you upload something from some another country, it doesn't matter, you will still be asked/forced to remove it.

That's how I understood it though.

Last I knew, it was hosted by a US site.

Guess they'll have to close us down then.

They can't close down the website, they'll be able to make you guys remove your videos, hence the copyright of games/music. If this bill is passed it will make most of YouTube a felony. The general public would be pissed, I don't think it will get passed.

How exactly will they get British people to do that?

YouTube is a US hosted site, so they would probably close down all the videos with "copyright" issues, but then we could make a British YouTube.
