Guys, how do you let her know it's time to go on a diet?

Let me just put this out there up front: I love her to death, always have, always will, wouldn't change a thing about her if I could.

But if I'm being honest, she's... well... about 4 times larger than when we first met, and it's just not that attractive. It's not an exaggeration either.

Since I'm the sole provider in the relationship, and the one responsible for purchasing and preparing the meals, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect to be able to 'limit' her food intake, but at the first hint of this she basically goes ballistic and makes a huge fucking scene until I give in and give her more food.

So guys, how do you deal with this situation?
