Your views on being banned..

Just wondering what you guys think when you get banned on servers such as CoD4/Black Ops.

I was banned quite frequently on CoD4 for jumping on servers (which is understandable if the server rules don't allow it), but also banned frequently on both CoD4 and Black Ops for `hacking`. This really pisses me off, I guess I can kind of take it as a compliment, since I don't hack, but I get scores with 15+ kdrs quite frequently, and often get accused for hacking and banned.

In CoD4 I would always get revenge, but in Black Ops there is nothing I can do. It just annoys me how some admins act like little kids and get mad/jealous, so ban with no actual evidence of me having hacks.

Really random thread by the way I just wanted to rant somewhere.

Play mixes instead of public games, or play in high skilled promod servers. Sorted.

Never really got into promod and such, although I should really give it more of a go. I do enjoy owning noobs on public servers though

I hate when that happends. I've been a server admin for a while and never banned/kicked/tempbanned anyone without evidence of hacking. Being a stupid sod on the server is the only exception.

While playing I also been accused of hacking/cheating very very often (CoD, CoD2, MW2) although I never cheat, my reply is always "thx for the compliment m8"

There are always players who accuse other players of hacking. I think they are just realy bad at the game (or don't know the map by heart and places where players often are).

What I also noticed playing on line is if you kill someone with a jump-ads kill ,from behind a wall or something, (which I do alot) you don't get a "great shot" reply but "nice aimbot/wallhack" reply instead

Oh yeah, and the most remarkable hack I got accused of was the "Nice throwing knife hack"
No idea what it is, to my knowledge that's not hackable, apponents move you know

I get banned loads of times just because i get a score like 90 : 15 or so (hardcore... )
I also get banned (rarer than hc), on promod for using an aimbot or things like that.
+ wallbangs, quadfeeds count as aimbot for noobs

So, when people say i have a wallhack, I just say "yep, I have aimbot too" , that usually shuts their mouth

And like you guys, I get so mad when i get banned because some guy said that i hack and admin just believed him (no spectating, pbss...).

Yeh it's annoying that you get kicked while just kicking ass. But hey, some people are so crap, but they think they are so good, that anyone who's better than himself must be cheating. Get used to it, retards will always be there.

I've got kicked from so many BC2 servers (Even more than on the latest CoD games) because of a brutal K/D ratio. But hey, getting to max 250-300h faster than most average people has its risks

ive been called a hacker pretty few times, since i cant frag really well due to my ping, which is 200 odd ms. but some very big noobs would occasionally blame me for hacking.

I would personally see nothing wrong with this if you have been banned for something you havn't done. Aslong as you never used their rcon again then no harm is done. I see why it would seem `scary` for the server owner that somebody knows their rcon, but if they have been idiotic enough to ban for no valid reason, then I don't see why not.

You shouldn't be hacking their rcon, but they shouldn't have banned you for no reason. But obviously if you do have their rcon, there would always be the temptation to use it again on their server.
