The company did not say whether the delay was related to the controversy.
Typical Fox. Anyone reading it will remember this sentence as having some degree of truth in it, even though its utter bullshit to think a delay can be cause by this 'controversy'.

I don't give a fuck, both about the controversy and about the game. Duke Nukem in today's gaming world is about as appealing as Mario games are now (absolutely, in no way even remotely close to the possibility of being appealing).

What exactly do you mean with this Soviet ? I mean, this is a highly anticipated game.

I don't care. In today's world of gaming, it is practically impossible to create a quality game on gameplay alone. You need characters, character interaction, plot, backstory, witty dialogue, innovative ideas, etc. Duke Nukem has absolutely none of those, it is an incredibly dull, low level, chauvinistic game that lacks in all of these departments. The only thing that could save it would be amazingly unique and fresh gameplay, which, frankly, I think is about as likely as the chances of the game coming out used to be.

Nostalgia is nice, but it isn't enough to make a game good, Doom 3 proved the shit out of that. Hype != quality

Really ? I enjoyed Doom3 shittons.

But while you're right about Duke Nukem. You have to keep in mind that the previous game is so old and I liked playing it. Who knows how this game will be, it might surprisingly be actually very good. Unless you can look in the future ofcourse :)

Also, a lot of games a couple of years ago just threw you into the game, but does't mean that it's bad.

Anyway, I'm not getting it btw.
