Specific settings for movie

Post by audenzio » January 17th, 2011, 1:12 pm

Hey all!
I am completely new to creating movies and just wanted to record some jumps with my custom movie config. (you know, like the way you did at your youtube-movies)

Unfortunately there is this "CoDJumper"-sign at the bottom left corner. Also, there are (not very attractive looking) "Damage Taken" and "Position Loaded" textlines.

I tried to avoid those things by just loading another mod or no mod but then there is instead of the "CoDJumper"-sign a grey rectangle and the text is stil there.

Does it need a special command to disable those CoDJumper-Mod features?

Thanks, audenzio

Because you have to enable cheats.

When starting it with CoD4Player I don't have to load devmap... It also works with only typing the command "cg_draw2d 0".

I start the demo with CoD4Player and only have to type in the command (annoying because sometimes recorded part begins before i could type the command). Binds don't work if I use CoD4Player and some presettings in the Config are changed automatically...

Why don't you just type in console /demo [name] and you can use any binds you like.

Anything done with CoD4Player is possible to do ingame without using CoD4Player, just make some timescale/camera angle binds.

/bind F5 timescale 0.3 for slow motion etc.

i know and at friends it works fine, but when i try to do the timescale command while playing a normal demo without cod4player, i get a directx error and cod4 closes :(
the problem occured since the installation of cod black ops (i guess it took the directx 10 with it and my windows xp only uses 9.0c)

its not possible to install DX10 on WinXP.
Make sure you run the same Mod with which you recorded the demos before you play them
