whenever i launch a demo file (.dm_1) in cod 4 after i have recorded it under the CJ mod i got the error
cannot use more than 1000 xmodel assets every time.
Anyone know i fix for this because i didn't see an imediate answer

Have you tried moving the demo file into another mod folder and trying?

Do you use CoD4Player to play the demos?
If so, start CoD4, launch CJ mod, open console and type "/demo NameOfTheDemo".

I have tried in different mods but it says the contents of the iwd archive are different. I also use the ingame player to run the demos not the demoplayer.
Any other possible ideas?

soz4bump, but, I'm getting this lately, it's pissing me off.
For some reason, it only does this on District, and apparently, the demo doesn't end up ANYWHERE after I stop recording. I search through my entire hard drive to find it nowhere. Not in CoD4, certainly.
And the odd thing is, it still shows up in the demo list for the mod I used.

Try enabling devmap and then play it.

This sometimes happens when you're using a model-heavy mod. You could try removing all mods from your Mods folder except ModWarfare, placing the demo in ModWarfare/demos and then running the mod and playing the demo.
