Post by Infinite » October 2nd, 2010, 2:18 am

Haven't seen any threads on this yet, so I figured I'd post it.

I've been waiting for this kind of customization in many games for a while, tbh.

I wouldn't doubt it. They're hinting at it by making things actually cost "virtual money" in the game :/.

I hope to buy the game, providing there's no last minute information that comes out and ruins it...

I still don't think its gonna be nowhere near as enjoyable as I found CoD4 to be, however loooks to be an improvement of Mw2 to say the least.

Also a little video here
of a compilation of gameplay footage.

Is it me or the dragunov looks like ak47 with a scope stuck on it?

Looks very much like MW2.

What's the status regarding modding and mapping?

That's really awesome. But yeh, it all comes down if it's actually enjoyable to play since WaW wasn't.

They *WILL* release modding tools sometime after release (no date has been hinted) but they may not be great because they're using a more complicated engine or something along those lines. Not many people know much more than that I believe.

I think the title is misleading, he wants to create a community montage once the game is released.

But the video he shows is a compilation of most of the ingame MP footage that has been released so far.

I think its a montage of players gameplay that played it at the reveal event. Like people from Machinma etc
