The first link Lancast posted, and also the first sentence in that black box on the top of the page.

Yea thats why I assumed they are taking on the xfire name, but also because of this logo suggesting it, the arrows exchanging.

They'll probably do an xfire update one day that will change the communicator name to Titan.

Same thing, no? I mean, they already own xfire's website, they fired most of the xfire employees and they are also saying that xfire user database will be the same, I can't see them having 2 different communicators with different databases.

Read what they have on their website "titan will be taking on the xfire name". It can't get much clearer tbh, titan will become xfire. Xfire will not rename.
Well you're English and I'm not so maybe you read it the right way, I know what you mean, they will become Xfire, however to me it still sounds and looks like they'll be renaming Xfire to Titan too.

Everybody loves Xfire...i hope this Titan ppl know it...every improvement is a bad improvement. Add your ads, ppl can block it...and im fine. This could be more worse than Steam for the (PC) gaming community.

Xfire was sold long ago to Viacom, Viacom have now sold it to a GAMING company, this is purely good news in terms of potential ideas, but I doubt the amount of money that can be put into the software is enough to sustain a quick rate of development.

However their ideas of "companies engaging with their users" is a current big thing, more developers are looking down the customer support side of games, and this is a window for 'Titan' to make a good revenue.

We shall see.

How did you figure that out? This is where you are wrong. You can't know something like this since you're American/English, only a person that has English as their secondary language, like me(or some good English teacher maybe, which I'm sure you are not), can see the interpretation of words differently, you can't possibly know how a not native English speaker translates from English to their own language, how they interpret.

BTW: Your "Titan -> Xfire" suggests as much as their logo, meaning, nothing.

In my opinion "titan will be taking on the xfire name" means they take over the name Xfire, they bought it. Means it's still called Xfire but owned by Titan.

Don't get suprised if the name changes, I doubt it will too tbh, it would be smarter on their side if it stayed "xfire" as that name already is popular but you never know. Someone said that would be disrespectful if they changed the name, they had the guts to fire all of *Xfire's employees*(not Viacom's employees) - respect? Well anyway, I hope the name stays, but surly our Xfire application will change, expect loads of Titan adds.
Anyway I found out about this "news" because I asked my friend why he keeps changing his xfire avatar and he told me that he isn't, he said that "xfire" keeps on doing that. He said that since Titan bought Xfire, they remove any kind of nudity, even from gaming screenshots.

I agree with this as well, and I know English good!
