I would suggest reconsidering on your processor. Right now, AMD is ahead of Intel in the performance-cost ratio of things. In addition, Intel is using various obscure socket types for most of their new processors. This not only means that it's harder to find any sort of cooling that will actually work for your processor, but that your choice in motherboards is severely limited. I would go with this processor instead:

Of course, this means you would have to go with a different motherboard which, judging by the reviews and the fact that the one you pointed out is unavailable, is not that big of deal. Here's a very well reviewed one by a good company that will allow you to keep the same memory:

----------------

Other than that it looks good, there are a few other recommendations I'll make, but with not near as much emphasis, just things to consider. With a lot of the hardware you're getting, cooling will be important. It's always better to have a solid case than a mediocre one. This one is a bit more expensive but is also one of the best on the market, definitely worth the few extra dollars if you ask me. Plus, with the money you're saving on the processor it just about evens out:

Also, the video card that you want is currently unavailable so I can't see the price on it. It's a good choice, but I'm not sure if the brand/price is the best out there.

Why go with an i5 processor? an i7 isnt that much of a leap in price but you'll get better performance. And if you end up getting one, dont get the 920. the 930 is literally like 10$ more.

are you planning on going for all new ram? because you might as well use what you have currently and add on from there.

I would recommend the Radeon HD 5970, I just bought one and am loving it. With the i7 930 and that together I get around 250 on all high gfx on cod4 while running eyefinity.

If your going for a card that high, you should invest in some good screens for it as well. Maybe wait for a holiday or birthday and rack up 3 screens for the eyefinity support. It makes a difference.

Cases arnt quite as big a deal as the actual hardware, but it seems that with the antec 300 you'll have trouble w/ cable management and getting good cooling (assuming your going w/ air cooling) because of the humps of cables you're most likely going to have. I would suggest a case with lots of space and ample room for cables. Personally i love the corsair 800D, look into it. It's a little pricy, but it doesnt seem like money is your problem. And keep in mind that with the 800D you'll never have to buy a case again. (its that big)

With your PSU, just make sure its sufficient to run everything you want.

Thanks for the tips Soviet, will definitely look into that processor/mobo combo, also the case

And for iSpawn, a 5870 is plenty to give me a very high performance computer, i see no need to spend the extra money on the 5970 for a fairly inconsequential performance boost.

PSU is definitely enough, system should only draw about 400W max.
