I don't regret buying MW2 (Was fun playing with 3 or 4 clanmates of mine) but I'm totally not supporting this map pack nonsense.

I know. I assumed they would put a pricetag on it. But it was still surprising that they actually did it

They just confirmed that they don't give a fuck about the players, it's all about the money. And I think loads of people who joined Respawn finally made the choice to bail out because of that.

Buying the game was already a difficult step, but worth it. But I promised myself never to pay for DLC. And that's exactly what I'm going to do.

I couldn't really care less about that because I enjoyed the game afterwards so it's no money loss for me.

I still enjoyed it, and so do many others. But I'm not playing it anymore anyway.

Boycott or not, I stopped caring about that a loooong time ago. I still remember how furious you got after I told you me and my father (And my bro later) have gotten the game.

Maybe chill out a little bit.

Console is the future for the CoD series. I for one am hoping that Treyarch can make a good game. But I already know MW3 is going to fail concidering how many people left the original team.

I'm fine with console being the future of CoD as long as they stop releasing CoD on PC. Otherwise they're perpetuating the idea that PC games should be as 1 dimensional, overpriced, and capitalistic as console games. I can't believe we're back to this topic again, even after the pages and pages of trying to get across the idea of what a boycott is for.

tbh I'm not really fine with the CoD series to become focused on consoles. But it's unavoidable.

Just because of that I eventually gave in. Boycotting is pointless. Just look at all the shitty console gamers who never really experienced a decent FPS like MoH, CoD1, CS or UT.

Sorry I don't really understand your sentence.

But what I mean is that MW2 is 'the best shooter' for console players because it's all they know. They never experienced the best FPS ever made. There's probably more but I actively played 3 out of 4 of the ones I mentioned.

Activision won't care in the slightest if CoD will no longer be on the PC. As we all know all they care about is money, and they're swimming in gold because of how well the CoD series is doing on a console.

I know most of the people on this site dont exactly like console and all that...but most gamers of today are younger people and a good gaming pc costs quite abit...the average 13 year old doesnt have that sorta money so they buy an Xbox 360 or PS3. The game producers all want the money and see that more people will but it if its on console as well soo they will focus on the console version. Its not a very nice truth but PC gamers at the minute are put second to console gamers almost all the time nowadays

Fair enough. Im mainly a console player, but i think think a FPS is better on pc, its just i prefer playing with friends and none of them have a gaming pc :S
