lol, If you want to really talk about what's going on with Portal 2 clues, check out the 700 page, 2 million view topic over on the Steam Community forums where they've figured out that Valve changed what the radios play in Portal, and using a piece of software discovered that a lot these new sounds are actually images encoded as sound. They've decoded the sounds to get the images. A few were also Morse code which they deciphered. Here are the decoded images:



From there got a BBS number in hash code form from the second picture (an old form of connecting computers before the internet that uses very old hardware and requires a 56k modem) and from there found a lot of ASCII art and a login. After figuring out the login they discovered a progress bar that was mostly done. When the progress bar completed Portal 2 was announced.

They've also sent people to actually scope out the addresses suspected to be the source of the BBS number, but they didn't really come up with anything. In addition, Game Informer will be releasing new info on Portal 2 every other day for a while. Here's a few of the more notable ASCII art images:

Also with Valve's official announcement of Portal 2 the underlined letters in the announcement reference the guy that scribbled stuff about cake on the walls in Portal 1 and gives a login for the BBS. When logging in with that, this is what they've received:

Also, Rez, through this and even before it it's been specifically proven that Portal takes place in the HL universe. This means with Portal 2 in the works we can expect to see a lot more for the HL universe as well. Especially considering the main objective in Episode 3 will be to go to the Borealis, which contains Aperture Science equipment.

EDIT: Oh, and the new ending suggests that an android is dragging you back toward the facilities, implying that you'll be doing the next round of experiments for GLaDOS in Portal 2 as she specifically says she is still alive at the end of the first one and must do more experiments.

Yeah I know about that BUT it's one thing for it to be happening in the same universe(which is awesome on it's own) and another for Valve to focus all/most of their resources into what is basically a spin-off series.

Looking at the thread, someone posted

Which apparently translates to: EPISODE3Q42010. I am assuming that this means Episode 3 is coming out 4th quarter of 2010. Could be fake, but I figure I might as well post things which I find interesting here :S. I'll continue looking through that thread, and it might take me a while to see what people have posted :S.
