IW fails at spelling

both of those uses are correct from cod4. "Launch" and "Launcher" are both fine but they spelled it "Laucher"... where did the n go?

Nobody's perfect. Maybe they have foreign people working for them who misspelled some words. If you play through the game you normally don't notice such things anyways. You people always try to find something to discuss about how bad / good games are.

I don't agree. When it comes down to ie spelling, you put someone on it who is extremely good at it. After he/she is done, you let someone else check it. It's quite unbelievable there are still spelling errors when the game is released. It's unthinkable there are still spelling errors after patch 1.7 or w/e.

Why are people even half considering this is "simple human error".

They employ a large quality control team to deal with any bugs they can find. The guy who wrote the English localisation was given a job to type a few simple lines. Even in firefox, typing lanuch or laucher both come up with bright red fucking lines...

This isn't just a simple human error, this is a simple spelling error that managed to slip through several people with specific duties who are all well paid.
