WoW jumping

Post by Azabael » December 22nd, 2009, 9:53 pm

WoW jumping in the underbelly of Dalaran. I've found lots of jumps like these last few days. It's not meant you can be there which can be comcluded when you can walk through the top of a house if you want. I didn't record that because that seems too boring.

You can actually directly jump onto that wooden thingy, yet however it is way easier with xmas tree. Nice one, I always do it while I duel. :P

Oh also, you could simply transform yourself into a flying bug with those underbelly elexirs!

WoW jumping is not only pointless but boring. Also, you can be potentially temp-banned.

Because in WoW:
PVE = Evade
PVP = Reported to GM
Hence pointless.

You cant kill anybody while jumping on a CJ server either, hence also pointless!

The servers are meant as a place to practice without getting killed so you can get good and use the jumps in scrims and matches. The jumps in WoW, however, stay useless, regardless of server or type of game played.

i got bitched at on cod scrims back with ak by other clans taht "glitching is not allowed" and bull shit. when clearly i jumped there. but yeah WoW the whole game is pointless. this has been said 15 million times. the game was cleaverly designed to make ppl want to pay 30$ or w.e a month to continue killing random ass shitand doing things that your mom will stop loving you for and your dad will think your a homo. the game is for ppl who either have no life... or will have no life. i unfortunatly do not have the time to play that bull shit.

i stick to fps.

CoD ftw..

WoW ftl..

im not gunna say taht video was stupid. it was nice and mildly entertaining. but again, id rather watch a baby get fucked by liger (yes the mythical creature that now exsists thanks to scientists who played to much wow probably) than the baby gets eatn and shit out into a cup in which ends up on the next edition of 2 girls 1 cup.

seriously, magic? a tiger that apears outa mid air? gawd the fuckin the best RPG game in the world ever.... Oblivion on 360 or pc. only bad thing is no online.

Not true. Go play the game and you'll understand why, also because of you not playing it I'll go explain why jumping in WoW is pretty awesome.

It's different than CoD for instance. In WoW I used to jump to explore secret areas (And there's plenty).

Here's some I made (screenshots) in WotLK although the jumps take place in various different areas. It would also help a bit if you're familiar with WoW ofcourse :roll:

Magister's Terrace/Isle of Quel'Danas:

Image

Glitched the instance with a friend of mine, resulted in us being able to 'fly' out of the instance and into the instanced version of Quel'Danas.

Image

Same area, but inside the water.

Image

Getting on the outer walls of The Caverns of Time.

Image

The instanced version of Battle for Mount Hyjal (Many years ago, during the times of lvl 60 I also managed to climb into Present Hyjal but that's been fixed since years).

Image

Image

Glitching near Ahn'Qiraj. Back at level 60 before the patch with AQ was released you could also manage to use the little 'toss-back' worms to throw you over the wall, resulting in exploring AQ40 before it was even live.

Image

The non-instanced version of Zul'Gurub. Many similarities but sometimes various buildings are different, most noteworthy is Hakkar's Temple you can see here.

Image

:)

I have many more, but some are years old and are no longer on my photobucket account (This is my new one). There's plenty of more secret places I could jump to like behind the big gate in Gilneas. Getting on top (and below) Orgrimmar. Jump on top of Ironforge (And the secret airstrip) and Stormwind. Jump out of Zul'Farrak. Dancing Troll Village close to Felwood/Darkshore. Glitching out of Karazhan and getting in the instanced version of Deadwind Pass. Probably plenty of more places I've been to.

Jumping in WoW won't give you advantages over other players, but it's the tought of you reaching a secret places you're not supposed to get to and then exploring awesome zones which aren't finished yet or never will be.
