Can't Transfer Files

Post by [SoE]_Zaitsev » September 10th, 2009, 11:26 pm

So whenever someone sends me a file over xfire or even MSN, I can never get it. On MSN the bar progresses but it's eventually stuck on 99.9%. On xfire I accept the file and it sais I rejected it.

I can perfectly download stuff from websites like custom maps, or download files from sites like rapidshare and from my e-mail.

What causes this ?

I got AVG for years. It just started causing this a month ago or so. I don't mess about with my firewall, I don't even know how to.

Antivirus is my answer.

The file has downloaded but the AV is not allowing it to complete.

Nod32/Smart Security = win.

I've got AVG and I don't have this problem - have a look in the setting perhaps? Somehow disable auto-scanning downloaded files?

Nod32 and no problems, but people are always complaining about this on xfire to me.

I'll have a look at it later.

If I can't figure it out I'll ask my bro, he's better with computers than I am, lol :P
