I've heard of them, and their website covers games other than the Call of Duty / Modern Warfare series. I do feel jealous that they're getting to go out and beta test the game when we're clearly a more CoD/MW orientated community (even 402 will know this!), but shit happens I guess. I just hope that as a result of not inviting us, the mapMonkeys team don't manage to find many jumps/bugs, and we find major ones soon after release.

I have fond memories of when 402 posted here asking about people potentially beta testing CoD4, many people e-mailed him with applications (I spent a reasonable amount of time and effort typing up mine), only to be kept in the dark and nothing materialise... and then a few months later bounce jumping was found!

Fair play to the mapMonkeys people who are going out and testing the game though, I'm sure they enjoy finding jumps and bugs as much as we do (although obviously they are more money-grabbing as someone already said - I think Infinite in the other topic). I think one of the major appeals of CoDJumper is the fact that we provide everything for free, and encourage the community to contribute.

the reason we never got our opportunity was based on our mostly UK residence, there are far better community members who I would've been happy to recommend to be their testers...

For those of you who have never heard odf "mapmonkeys", they are a site who have been using mostly OURs and community found jumps, posting them on their site and getting members to PAY for them.

As far as I'm aware, yes, it is bullshit, but that's life and I'm going to get over it and move on.
