My router ip?

Hi guys is there any way of finding out my router ip so i can configure it? I am told if i do so it will help with certain stuff? My stepdad through away the box so i cant look there

Go on Start menu, click on the Run application.

Type CMD and a black window thing should open.

Type ipconfig into it and it should show your IP address and stuff
