Annoyed with that Sleep button in Vista when you click start?

Want a easy way to turn of ur pc, like the sleep button has?

NOT TO FEAR SCREAM IS HERE

Inorder to change the sleep button to shutdown button follow these steps

1) Open Up control Panel

2) Go to hardware & Sound & select Power options

3) Now what ever one of the 3 options is selected underneth is a link called Change Plan settings, what ever one is selected for you go under it and press that link

4) Now click Change Advance Power Settings

5) Now find the Power Buttons And Lid part and expand it

6) Expand Start menu Power button

7) now click the text in blue and a drop down menu should appear

8 ) Select Shut Down and click apply then click ok

9) Go to start and you will see that instead of the Yellow Sleep button, it is now a red shut down button

Hope this helped you as it did me. I found this out from the Computer act!ve Magasine ^^&^^

a quicker way to do this is to go to start then type cmd and hit enter, then type powercfg.cpl,1 and hit enter, then follow steps 5)-9)
